District Small Bites is seeking dependable, energetic Food Truck Cooks to join our growing team. We provide food truck catering, community events, and private celebrations throughout the DMV areas.
- Responsibilities include:
• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Assist with food preparation before events
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace
• Provide friendly customer service during events
• Assist with food truck setup and breakdown
• Follow food safety and health regulations
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Support team members to ensure successful event execution
- Qualifications:
• Minium 2-years of food service, catering, or food truck experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent customer service skills
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
• Must be able to report to our warehouse location before events and travel to event locations as needed
• Applicants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the warehouse and event sites
